After the recent equipment change (ref. IGSMAIL-3568) at the IGS station in
Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (KELY), the antenna height was correctly recorded
as 7.62 mm (to the antenna BPA=ARP). This does not constitute an actual
change in the antenna height from the previous configuration, but a
correction to the previous logs recording the antenna height erroneously as
zero.
A new IGS log will be submitted shortly reflecting this correction in the
antenna diagram as well as the antenna record. The correction was recorded
during the installation (SEPT 14 2001) of the new equipment and noted in the
new log of SEPT 17 2001.
Also, a new short SCIGN antenna dome (SCIS) will be shipped to the site
shortly and installed.
We apologize for the confusion and the inconvenience this has caused.
Best regards,
-Oivind Ruud
